Re: Two Canadian tourists killed in Mexican resort (Cancun)
[quote="hamster_627"]I know it's not PV, but there are a lot of Canadians that visit here, and I didn't see it posted anywhere else. What a horrible thing to have happen! My heart goes out to that poor girl who was starting down a whole new path in her life and who will now never have the dream wedd...

If you Google "Puerto Vallarta Fishing" you'll find all the main companies in town - all take six fishermen comfortably. We are talking about a panga and the panga's don't take 6 people fishing comfortably. Most are only licensed for 6 as they are smaller than ours. Ours is 28 ft and licensed for 8...

How long did Alberto have to hold his head in the Bay before he came up with the other $20 or Peso equivelent? I guess a tip was out of the question? Well, holding his head in the bay could be considered a "hairwash" and the "stylist" should geta tip. Chuck... LOL, my suggestion was a little more h...

Re: peso
I did not mean that to sound harsh, but if I run out of peso... well I get more peso -lol. I always try to have my coin purse full of smaller bills and larger coins (hard to come by) at the end of the trip, which I keep for the next visit, so you don't have do start with only the large bills that t...

Fishing charter
Just to clearify, the boat is licensed for 8 and a crew of 2 but 8 people fishing is really crowded and often times lines end up getting tangled. For the optimum amount of comfort we usually try to keep it at no more than 4 people fishing at a time. Alot of times there are 3 or 4 couples that want t...

Re: peso is the currency
I don't understand why people don't simply get peso and use them. it is the currency of the country you are visiting. Change your money, get your ATM card fixed, even trade TC's if you must. I can't get over feeling that it is rude to use USD in Mexico, whether shops or vendors accept them or not. ...

Just a little side bar here. Really nothing to do with anything except this discussion brought it back. When I was in Vietnam fighting the "war" we could get, for a $20.00 us greenback, $100.00US in swiss franks; uk pounds; or french franks on the black market, because the Viet Cong wanted US cash ...

What to bring!
I take things for the children too. Then I ask the maid, bellman, vendors etc., if they have kids...son or daughter? I can get the hot wheel cars for $1 and I can usually find barbie dolls on sale for around $4. They really seem to like being able to take a special something home to their children. ...

I am sure not all the moderators do not hop on the board early every A.M. I think most people handled it correctly by not responding to the posts by one particular person, if that is what you are referring to. We are all adults and I think people handled it properly by just ignoring the trash and no...

Lori,
You are correct, no license is required for fishing from shore.

Kiss my a$$ just the same though. No thanks I will pass on your suggestion, I have no reason to want to or have to "Kiss your a$$". I merely stated you might have more luck with obtaining some satisfaction to your problem by contacting RCI (since you did the reservation/exchange through them and no...

Right, and your point is? The end result was that our first night was spent sleeping apart in twin beds Your second quote was my point however, right now, I think my point is to take a chill pill.
