New Webcam format

I didn't know where to put this, so I guess this is as good as any. I don't like the new web cam format. You can't increase the size so you have a better view. The views all seem to be so far away that you can't really see anything at all. Maybe I just happen to be looking at all the wrong times. I ...

Yes, you need proof of yearly rabies shots and a health certificate stating the animal is free of internal and external parasites.

If you see something you like on VRBO or HomeAway, any of them, just write the owners and ask what they will take for months rent. Most will do less than the weekly rate for 4 weeks.

Easter

You will be there during the busiest week of the year. Many Mexicans vacation at the beach during this week. The beaches will be very crowded and streets packed. You will still have a great time and the weather will be great! It helps to know what to expect. Be sure to watch your pocket in the crowd...

Some condo buidlings provide storage for owner. You might ask the owner you are renting from is they have a storage area and if you can leave some stuff in it. Same thing if you are renting a house. You would just need to be sure it is secured. Might be better off in a condo building in this situati...

We were at Howard Johnson's for the first 2 weeks in Feb. There were a 2 or 3 people sick. However, I had the bug a week before we arrived while we were still in our condo at the Sea River Tower in the Holiday Inn. I heard of a few others there that had been sick also. People are in pretty close pro...

I agree with Kat. It hardly seems worth it. Sometimes the yellow cabs will try to get you to pay as much as the airport taxi's as they are assuming you don't know how much the ride is supposed to cost.

Does Vallarta Adventures allow people, that aren't on the tour, to hang out at Las Caletas and use their chairs, etc.? I know that all the beaches are supposed to be public, but you know how that goes.

Chico's Paradise is up the mountain from Boca de Tomatlan on the main highway Chino's Paradise is closer to Mismaloya. You turn off of the main highway into Mismaloya and take the road through town. El Eden is further up the same road from Chino's. I have not been to Chino's for several years. I am ...

Hi tigerfan, I don't know anything about the Gypsy Spirit. I was wondering if perhaps you were a Mizzou Tiger fan? I am, and live in the STL area. What about you? Last fall several of us in the area were in PV at the same time and got together for drinks. It is always fun to meet new people, especia...

That's interesting. We are owners there, always exchange since we own our own condo in PV. We have not heard anything about tearing the Mayan Palace down. They do keep us fairly up to date on happenings too. It is their practice to tear down older buildings and put up brand new ones. The Mayan Palac...

You could try: Pvrpv.com

They are a vacation rental site specific to the PV area. They used to add their fee onto your price, charging you nothing. Check it out.

Sites like vrbo.com and homeaway.com charge a hefty fee up front.

Casa Isabel is wonderful!! The owners and staff are really great people. The view is out of this world. The only hitch is that it is up a huge hill, so if you have walking difficulties you will be taking taxi's. The Casa also has a lot of steps.

You could also rent a condo. Some places like the Sea River Tower in the holiday inn are privately owned condos but you also receive the services of the hotel. There may be other condo hotels in the area. I just don't know what they are. You can check out sites like -www.vrbo.com ; -www.alwaysonvaca...
