Hi Canucker

I remember you from way back when... It is kinda sad to see how the old forums have just kinda disappeared in favor of FB and TA. You can get your PV fix here if the people that still check this forum, would start posting again. You want your fix of the day...the rain for the most part has stopped (...

I haven't stayed there but we drove by in Nov. Before it was re-opened.

It opened 12/18. Here is a link to a couple of the first reviews that were posted on TA.

High waves in the bay, the past two-days, not the best/safest for swimming. Should start calming down tomorrow. Waves were over the Malecon and in Buenaventura today.

It's only as far as Mismaloya, it wouldn't be that long a trip. Many people go to the zoo and have lunch at Tony's in Mismaloya village, or the cross the road and spend some time on the beach.

They run from $45-80 dollars per day. They usually include the use of the resort amenities that are not an additional resort charge :ie:spa, massage, etc. Some include lunch and others are AI food and drinks for the day. A little expensive just to swim in a pool. What about the community pool in Pit...

There is a lot of discussion about it on Tripadvisor. This is the latest post from a guy that is getting married there in April 2014. Perhaps you should contact the resort directly if you are not comfortable with what you have been told. "Dreams will be shutting down on April 29th for renovations. H...

It is only accessible at low tide unless you swim/snorkel in. There are several tours that go out there along with private panga's. It is a marine/ecological preserve so you are only allowed on the beach, no walking around the island allowed. From the Vallarta marina it is 25 miles at the opening of...

Que pasa 2 on Olas Altas

Posted on All Vallarta by Utahfilmguy. The last line of the post pretty much sums it up. As I was walking by today I noticed the door was open, so I decided to pay my condolences to Linda. Lo and behold, she was with customers playing a game of dice: Seems the previous owner Leo, of "Sweeny's" fame,...

OK, I am not confused anymore. :D There are a million questions/answers to give you the info you need. You need a good attorney and a lot of patience to put the boat in your name and then it has yo be a joint ownership with a National (that you can trust). First you need a boat, a place to dock it, ...

So now I am totally lost???? What type of business do yow want to do, if the organic juices would be just a side business? You have to find a location that will allow you to operate that type of stand and then apply for a permit, but why do you need access to PV waters for an organic fruit stand? Yo...

I am a little confused by your post. You said you want to set up a stand but need access to PV's waters (boat business)? What type of "stand" do you want to set up and why the access to PV waters?
