OK, that helps. I hadn't heard the name before so wasn't sure if it was new or got renamed. I know about where it is and like that area, maybe we'll give it a shot - thx.

Info on Sunset Plaza Beach Resort?

Hi, thinking about returning to PV some time this spring (12th time). We had to skip last year, bummer. Anyway, got an email about Sunset Plaza Beach Resort. Anyone have any info? Looks to be around Buenaventura I think. The email kind of sounded like it was a timeshare, but I could be wrong.

I had the best whole red snapper ever at Joe Jack's Fish Shack on Basillo Badillo last week. Good amount of seasoning, tons of roasted garlic, lime juice - just great

Just got back, wish I could've stayed

To anyone thinking about cancelling a trip to PV - DON'T! We did a quick 5 nighter last week and had a great time. Sure, there are a lot less tourists, but I don't consider that a bad thing. We could eat/drink wherever we wanted whenever we wanted. Our only regret was that we only booked for 5 nights.

Review - Fiesta Americana, May 10-15

My wife and I stayed at Fiesta Americana for 5 nights, May 10 - 15. First time at that resort, like the 10th time to PV. We got a GREAT rate on an air/room package and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very nice and well maintained, the rooms are all ocean-view with a balcony. We were on the 6th...

... women are pretty open ... I like the place already! All seriousness aside, I take the opinions on TA like I take my tequila, with a grain of salt. I'm sure some of the 'bad food' is really 'mucho cerveza', and some of the bad service is bad manners by tourists. I was just curious if there'd bee...

GCP Questions

Hi all, my wife and I are hoping to take our 10th trip to PVR 12/1 - 12/8. We usually stay at the Marriott (have stayed at Krystal and Palladium/Viva also), but they have a golf tourney that week and last year they kind of dominated the place. I figured this is a good time to try GCP, which I know i...
