Oh yes, we did find two great new restaurants, Eva's Brickhouse and Le Provence. Eva's is across from Marks and the food and ambience is fantastic. They go out of their way to be friendly. Try Kent's pit roasted pork. Le Provence is a very small place on Hidalgo. We had wonderful boulliabaise and co...

They say the bridge will be repaired within 6 months. It is tough getting to Nueva from PV. We were stuck for about a half hour.
If you're in NV it shouldn't be a problem to get to Bucerias, about a 10 minute cab ride.

What you say makes sense. The website says Villa del palmar is Zone 1A but its only $1.50. That's not per person, correct?

Airport taxis vs over the bridge

What's the difference between the airport taxis and the one's over the bridge? We're going to Villa del Palmar in 1A. The price is $15.50 on Vallarts.net. Is that per person or cab.

Arrgh!

My banks are pirates! The ATM charge is 2.5% and the credit card charge is 3%. I guess the best way is to change money here in the US and take cash although I hate to carry cash.

Money

Given that banks charge international ATM fees and credit cards add on international fees, what is the best way to change and spend money in Mexico?

No Liability coverage

Ok, the $30 price doesn't include the mandatory liability insurance which is $39 a day. Is there any cheaper way to get this liability insurance?

We ended up shopping at the Mega which is on the highway right across from Flamingos where we are staying. It's a big, new market with lots of everything

Worth a try!

They've been promoting parties in the US and I wondered if there were any ex-pats in PV who might be of a similar mind.
Thanks!

Best prices

Thanks, I always go for cheap for margaritas. Joe Canals is good as well as Total Wines.
Are the prices better at WalMart, airport or the corner "Come in for a taste" shops in PV?

Where's the best place to buy? Brand suggestions?

Bought at the airport last trip. I was happy with the package (Centenario) but when we changed planes in Atlanta i had to scramble to repack because of the stupid liquids rule.
