Actually, I will reserve my opinion on customer service until I arrive and see what happens. This does not seem to be the same company that was once used. The rate they are charging is $10.00 more than what the hotel is offerring to pick us up for using VIP taxi service. I was not aware that the com...

Actually to the credit of the company, they have given me an e-mail address to keep them up dated. I had already ordered and paid for the service. I have used them for several years and they are dependable. The worst case scenerio we will face is to just get ourselves to their airport office that we...

we have been using the taxi service for several years except for last year when it was down for a while. Our big problem this year will come in determining exactly what time we will arrive on Feb. 21. We have made arrangements based upon our current itinery, but give the weather and the fact that we...

Re: Prices are in Mexican Pesos

Prices are in Mexican Pesos, just in case you didn't notice. I don't remember what the previous prices were with the airport taxis, I wasn't in charge of that section. Greetings M. Ok, took me a bit but I got it. I guess that reflects the two brain surgeries I had this past year. I guess I am not a...

Everything was very much the same as always. They have a desk right at the luggage claim with your name written on a large neon sign. You meet them after you get through the "shark tank" (timeshare vendors) and they take you to an office behind the crowd, give you some bottled water and you are in t...

13.02 this morning, but it all depends upon where you go. Some years our hotel has the best exchange rate and some years it is the kiosks. We have even run into some of the gift shops that will have a much better rate if you have purchased something there. We did run into a place that would let us c...

I still have always had good service. I booked our taxi online just last week. We arrive in just short of three weeks now. It took approximately 3 hours from my initial request to receive our final coupon for the taxi. We are looking forward to warmer weather.

We walked down to "Tino's" this year to try the seafood. Portions were very large. Food was good. Service was extremely poor, but they seemed to have a couple of local parties going on which required all of the staff to wait on those two or three tables. We do not recommend sitting on the balcony, e...

Hector's Sunset is still open as of the 2nd week of Feb. We visited a year ago and did not care for it much. There were essentially using Card tables and chairs. Decor was not impressive and food was just average. The sunset was excellent. They currently have someone out front by the gate near the s...

I have to agree. There is usually such a small difference that it doesn't make much sense to go hunting for long. We just returned early this morning and the rates these past two week ranged from a low of 12.00 and some of the cambio's to 12.65 at one restaurant. It was a reverse this year in that t...

Immigration and Customs......

What changes have been made since 2009? I had read somewhere that many of the airports had changed personnel this past year. Anything that is different in PVR? Have they improved the line up process or is it still a "crush" in that area approaching the officers. I never worry about the "shark tank" ...

today's rate is 12.65 I have been following it the past month. it hasn't really fluctuated much. Last year one place we purchased some items they also cashed travelers checks for 15.00 Some times if you purchase some thing you need or are looking for they do give you a better rate. I am anticipating...

3 days to 16 days in PVR.... Last year we discovered Oscar's.... probably will return, but we still look for reasonably priced places. My first time down (2004) we found a place with fantastic coconut shrimp. It was upstairs and had live music where we purchased the CD by Nestor (can't remember the ...

Well, we are now three days from take off. They have changed the time once and the flight numbers three times, but we will still arrive about the time as we originally booked for. Our weather has been mild for us so I am not anticipating any flight delays through MSP. I really do l look forward to g...

I hope you did get it straightened out. I know the frustration of dealing with the CC companies. Incidentally, this year when I called American Express they stated that their policy had changed. They no longer require prior notification for use of a card out of the USA. I am not sure if that is good...
