some places/tours I read say to bring a jacket for the boat ride home at night...but it doesn't seem like that is true in August is it?

Also if we are on the beach really late like 11:00pm to 12:00pm (turtle watching)..do we need jackets/sweatshirts.

Readying this doesn't seem like we do

taxi Service

I just made reservations for sat. the 25th.

I just want to make sure - I was thinking someone would meet us (with a sign with our names) to take us to the taxi, but It says to go to the taxi stand, is this correct.

Do we get our luggage first? The go to the stand.

Villa Del Palmar and Towels

WE are packing for our trip in a week.

Most of our excursions all say to bring a towel. I was curius if we can bring towels from the Villa Del Palmar as long as we bring them back...vs carrying 4 beach towels from home.

So I am getting feedback that sharing really isn't a good option as the taxi's are small.

More than anything if there will be anyone that is doing the outdoor adventure with vallarta adventures.it would be great to divide the DVD of pics.

we have two teenagers and thought about doing this but it seems more for couples, but it has a price for kids.

What are your thoughts?

Or maybe another nighttime show

Majahuitas

Where is Mahahuitas Bay? I tried to find it on a map and could not see it.

The trip to Yelapa says it first goes to teh village and then to a bay you cannot get to except by boat.

Tours - favorite - and what NOT to do again

Almost eveything I read everyone loves the excursions they take and the companies. We will be two adults and 2 teenage boys. I was curious on what people FAVORITES are and / or which ONES they would NOT do or recommend. I figure both of these should narrow it down. So far I have looked at three comp...

If I am staying in the Hotel Zone, is the best thing to do is just take one of the tours to Los Archos (isnt' that south shore)...or if we wanted to go to the beach on the south shore ourselves, what is the best way to get there and where exactly.

Thanks.
