I am a regular American planning a trip to Europe with my brother. It will probably be a two week affair. I am looking for any tips that people might have onwhat to bring and how to "backpack" across europe as well as places to stay and monetary advice. I am a college student with limited cash flow and any advice on how to skrimp and save would be great, as well as locations that would be good to travel to.

I love Europe and we are planning...
hoping to go to Germany and Holland in Sept..
Good luck and have fun with your search
I agree use the train in Europe...You can get twin passes..2 people travelling same day..
There are 2 trains..choose the train that is slower which is more scenic and cheaper....There is so much to see in Europe I would suggest not doing more than 2 ..3 at the most Countries in your 2 weeks...

sites we use are

booking.com
Make sure your check yout train travel passes for bonuses..Some countries offer reductions on ferry crossings with your erorail pass.. Discounts on tours..buses etc...
In Germany your rail pass allows you to use the S-Bahn (local rail trains )free.. Free sailings on boats operated by the 'KD German Rhine Line..
There are passes for 2 ..3 4 etc.. Countries
