I was wondering what all of you loved the most about PV?
For me, it was the people. I really enjoyed getting to know as many local people as I could. I miss their spirit
I really enjoyed my trips into the jungle too!
I can hardly wait to go back to PV!

It is definitely the people that is for sure... and within the people you get to meet the business people that own the resorts, manage the hotels, resturants, etc... and you start building relationships that turn into more... you become part of their family as well as they become part of yours... it is pretty kewl that is for sure...
just got to Vallarta.
just got to Vallarta.
good old fashioned PV
The old-timey ambience of Puerto Vallarta is the best. There are
enough modern conveniences (ez to check your email for example) to feel relaxed while enjoying vacation time with genuine smiles and warmth from the people of the town. Even tho the townspeople are 'working for you' in whatever way (waiting on your table, shop - marketstall clerks, etc.) one still feels that these humans truly care about you and about
each other. The original Mexican charm together with a beautiful place.
The best of the best Puerto Vallarta.

hello all,
I think for me it is the people for sure, but the variety is good too. I liked being able to go to the older part of town to shop and then go to a fancy restaurant on the beach later on.
I enjoyed taking the bus and having someone sing to us, some good and some bad singers----but very neat all the same. Then I can take a bus to anywhere within an hour and be in a very different environment, smaller town or a beach resort.

Hi everyone 2nd time to post here.
For me it's the people ... I've become friends with so many people from vacationing there year after year.
The smell in the air early in the morning when restaurants are starting to cook breakfast. In old town the smell of pancakes fill the air.
In the summer the thunderstorm that comes around 3pm everyday cooling the air.
And last but not least the sunsets.

i love the beaches the most
and living in a place where i can basically walk just about anywhere at nearly any time of the day or night. also that i can walk to what i want or need, though it's good to have a car here too for those fun out of town trips that are so lovely to take to places locally like bucerias or sayulita or the adorable beach at guayabitos.
i like the relatively laid backed lifestyle, and the pretty happy and friendly mexican population.
the summers here are a bit difficult with the humidity, but the incredible tropical rainstorms and the lightning are something i never saw before being here.....
