My cell phone company in Canada does not offer a reasonable package that I may use in Mexico. Would I be better to get a phone there? ..or what...I am there for two months...thanks...

If you are with Rogers or Fido, all you need is a new SIM card. Probably 150 pesos with 100p talk time on the Amigo plan. If you have an older Bell or Telus phone then you would buy an Amigo phone for 300 p and get 200 p talk time.

I would think that the p stands for pesos.

...so for about 150 pesos, I can get 100 peso talk time....
how many "minutes" can I get for about 150 pesos....not quite getting the "peso talk time" understanding...
