Guadalajara & Tequila...

Post by ana » Wed Aug 29, 2001 2:28 pm

Whilst staying in PV, did any one went to Guadalajara for a couple of
days or so? Stayed in a Hotel? Took a public transport? I would like to
read any comments about this place, please. Also about TEQUILLA... is it
possible to visit Tequila in just one day in a public transport? Is it
worth it? Anyone have reviews or opinions. They would be much
appreciated. Thanks Ana

I just returned from a few days in Guadalajara - cannot believe I have lived in PV for 11 years and have only been there twice...last time 5 years ago! I definitely would suggest more than one day. I took the bus and that alone is about 5 hours. It is a huge city and there is no way you can cover everything (especially if you want to shop!!!!) in only one day. Tequila is just about as far. You could stop in Tequila on your way to Guadalajara and then spend a day or more in the city. What a city! I felt like I had come in from the "backcountry" coming from PV! Feel free to email me directly for further info. Happy to assist. Pamela-PV
