Puerto Vallarta Forum (PV Bulletin Board)

We are tentatively planning a trip to PV in late April. My husband hopes to do some deep-sea fishing...is this a good time of the year to fish? Some of the websites say that fishing is good all year down there. All the messages here seem to be from people who are there in July/Sept/Feb - is April a good month to visit at all?

There is decent fishing there all year. A lot has to do with rainfall. The more rain, the further from The Bay of Banderas you have to travel. The prime months for Billfish are in the fall.
