Will be visiting PV for the first time on Aug 5. I would like to snorkel and see some marine life, zoo activity, - inexpensively. Can anyone recommend some ideas. Much appreciated.

Los Arcos and Marietas Islands for snorkeling. I'm pretty sure it's egg-laying time for sea turtles. They have a program for collecting the eggs as the turtles lay them, putting them in incubators and releasing them on the beach when they hatch. Dolphins reside year around in Banderas Bay. Geckos and Iguanas abound and the Iguanas around the marina at Nuevo love to eat Hibiscus flowers. Don't harass the little gecko's...they eat their weight in bugs every day. I've never seen him, but there's supposed to be an alligator living in the river at the north end of Centro. There are white Cobras up in the hills. Have a blast, let ua all know what you found!
