Hi,
I have been able to ascertain that the bull-fighting season in PV begins sometime in November, and that fights take place on Wednesdays; does anyone know if the season will have begun by the 16th?
Gracias.

I was recently in Puerto Vallarta and saw a sign at La Paloma Plaza de Toros (a.k.a. the Bullring at the Marina) that said this year they were opening on Wednesday, November 23rd, at 5 P.M. Once the season opens, the bullfights are on Wednesdays at 5 P.M.
Make sure that you learn something about the pageantry of bullfighting before you go. If you don't study up, it will be like going to a football game and only seeing it as big 22-man wrestling match! Here is a great link: http://spainforvisitors.com/archive/fea ... 42801a.htm
If you are a real hard-core bullfight fan, I would recommend reading the book, "Mexico", by James A. Michener. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... 2?v=glance Warning: Like most of his books, it's a thick one!
