Las Caletas/Yelapa

I'm taking my family to Vallarta next April, and would like to include Las Caletas in our travels. Our teenagers will be going for the first time, and we wanted to take them to Yelapa also. Are there any taxis that can take us to both in a day, or tour outfits that do? We'd rather do it solo than part of a tour crowd, but would really like to do it in a day, rather than make separate trips over different days.

There is only one company licensed and permitted to land tours at Las Caletas, Vallarta Adventures. Las Caletas by day only goes to that locale, and it's about 5-6 hours.

You would have to do Yelapa another day, another way.

Jon, thanks for the link, I've seen your pics before, and they're some of the best, I wish I had your eye. Jennybean, I appreciate the info, looks like we're going to make 2 days of it. Probably too much to do for one day anyway.

You can reserve the tour here (cheaper than at the VA site, even with the 10% discount):

and you support our site too. If you enjoy this forum, please do so.

Kind regards

A new article I wrote on Las Caletas and John Huston, this way you'll add a new dimension to your trip to Las Caletas and you may enjoy the little museum they have there on the subject.

Greetings
