Best tour or activity

Post by leah8581 » Tue May 16, 2006 3:38 am

This is kind of a vague question. But I just want to know from everyone, if you had to choose one tour or activity in PV, what would it be? I will be staying at Paradise Village in Nuevo from May 24-June 3.

:D Definitely the sandrails...it is so much fun.

The whale watching/snorkelling tours by Vallarta adventures are fun also.

Hi leah8581
There are 2 tours I would like to do... Both evening tours.
Sailing Lobster Dinner Cruise and there is a new tour offered (not sure who offers it) Live Music played while cruising the Bay.

we have liked the Rythms of the Night (been on this one three or four times) we would like to do the Las Caletas by day tour and the tequila tour... another one we enjoyed was the San Sabastian tour by air. flying up into the mountains was great.. and then we came back (granted this was during february) we flew over the bay area, saw sting rays, some whales from above.. it was fantastic....

there are a few ideas for you to venture out on ....

  8)

Vallarta Adventure tours are all very highly recommended and are the way to go. We did Rythms of the Night as well and it was worth the money. Free boos on the trip to island, great all you can eat meal, the show after dinner, and then the trip back. Lots of dancing on the boat and able to see downto PVR from the bay.

I loved rhythms of the night, we did that last year. We went on the Yelapa/Majahuitas trip last week. It was ok...definately rhythms of the night has been the best tour i've ever been on.

OMG Leah, we were at the same place at the same time!!!! Cool. Wonder how many times we meandered past each other!!!
I have to say, my girls LOVED the dophin things. Annika (4yrs) did the Kids encounter and is still talking about it everyday, and Kenzi (almost 12yrs) did the swim w/dolphins and has placed it in the top 2 most incredible moments of a lifetime. Only beat out by her experience on the Canopy Tour. So well put, i agree, it was a RUSH!!!! I didnt think it would be, after all, ive been in bungee harnesses flipping all over the place and on zip lines (in a gym) and didnt think the canopy tours would thrill me. Boy was I wrong!! I cant think of anything Ive ever done in my life to begain to compare it to! WOW!!!!!!! Its a total must (unless you are terrified of highths) and if you go, ask for Ramone and his crew. They are THE BEST!!!!!! Ramone carried Kenzi all the way back to camp on his shoulders when she had problems w/dizzyness/dehydrated.
Leah, were you at the Mexican Fiesta night? Did you try and walk the pole?? :)

No I didn't go to the mexican fiesta night. After 8 years of going there, I've actually never gone to any of the themed parties. Probably because we're rarely on the resort for dinner. Although I would like to go to one next year, as long as I can convince my husband.
We did the swim with the dolphins about 3 years ago and it was pretty neat getting to have the dolphin do tricks and carry you across the pool. After our Yelapa tour, we shared a cab with a woman that was just coming back from the canopy tour and she said it was AMAZING! So I think it's definately going to be a must next year!
