Ok, only 18 more sleeps
and getting very excited about our 5th year to PVR and our 3rd stay at the GCP.
I think time will fly by with Christmas and New Years on the horizon!!
Anyway from some things I have read, there has been a big change to the back area of the GCP. Does anyone know what all has gone up??
Thanks and everyone have a very happy Holiday Season

sounds like some new shopping stores etc have gone up in the vacant lot north of the Factory Club, and i have heard where they have torn up the area where the Krystal used to have their fiesta parties.... sounds like that whole area is getting a face lift....
have a great time....

Well it has to be better than the little chicken farm
We just hope they won't change PVR too much
But you have to breath, pay taxes and change I guess.

Is that the new complex in the Marina? Next to the Melia or is it towards town?

towards town... the Peninsula is next to the Krystal, and the Venutian is on the other side of the river there by the Holiday Inn... if you go to my pictures from April, you will see the towers being built....

Two more sleeps, then we arrive in PV at the Goldnen Crown Paradise, once again. Am very excited to arrive for our first Christmas there and will try to report back back on all the new buildings. Were there last in May (2006) and things were pretty torn up where they were building the Penninsula and Venetian (that conflicted with my walking path, hope I can get over the bridge area more safely now).

Do they have turkey and stuffing for Christmas dinner in Mexico?

In addition to the above changes, my darling son, Dany, is no longer working there. If we end up at the GCP in June I sure will miss him.
Have a good trip, I will be in Playa del Carmen in less than 3 weeks.
