Decision 08 Marival Grand or Riu Vallarta

Yes guys I'm back..just finished a really nice stay at the El Dorado Seaside Suites in Puerto Adventuras and within 9 days of returning I have put on hold 7 nights at either the Marival Grand or Riu Vallarta. The deal is, I need to get some input from those out there who have recently been to both or either.

I found that Jan16 '08 is about the last date from STL with reasonable prices prior to the high season. This will be the first time in the PV area we have not been at the GCP and also the first for us to be in Nuevo.

This question in now moot. As of yesterday, I have booked the Marival for Jan 16-23. I still would appreciate any input or info on the resort.
