Looking for a resort

Post by mexicodrmr » Sun Jan 17, 2010 6:06 pm

hi there- I'm looking for help picking a resort. Preferably all inclusive but not necessary. Looking for a very nice pool area, swim up bar etc... and closer to town but I'm open to suggestions. this is for two adults

I think I've narrowed it down to the Melia, the Westin, or Dreams in Puerto Vallarta (not Nuevo)... if anybody has info on these three let me know. Thanks! :D

If it is just for two adults I would throw the Golden Crown Paradise into the pot as well... Melia will have lots of families with kids... but it has a bigger footprint as far as land size.... bigger pool, but not heated and lots of kids playing games... GCP has a nice pool, Adults only... I never been to Dreams, but everybody say it is super nice... but a lot more expensive than the others.. All three are all inclusive. The only thing I know about the Westin is where it is.

Thanks! I had heard the Golden Crown didn't have a great pool area so that is why I had kinda skipped over it but I'll look again. Appreciate all the info!
