feeling good at an AI

Post by islena » Wed Mar 17, 2010 6:22 am

Just returned from a nice stay at an AI in PV. They had the pro-active
measure of hand sanitizer at the maitre d' podium for guests to
use as we went in to the lunch buffet. Low key, easy to use, and
a thoughtful effort by the hotel.

It's apparent that there are many ways of looking after the safety of people.

The AI we stayed at had their staff each night washing down the entire public areas and equipment, so that we didn't have to be concerned with picking up anything. I know it has a lot to do with public perception, and making the guest feel good... and I'm happy that it made you feel safe.

Personally I think that having Isagel or a similar sanitizer in public view makes me think that the place is being somewhat cautious because they think they might have a problem.

I noticed a definite increase in the presence of hand sanitizer numerous places in PV my last trip down. They had it at the reception desk at VDP and they had it at Soriana, those are two places that it really stood out to me. I think since they had the issue last year with the swine flu they are trying to take a proactive stance rather than trying to hide anything.
