i just got back from filming in pv. i was able to spend my time at one of the schools that the kids that live in the basurero go. if for some reason i wake up and loose memory of all the visits i have ever had anywhere in the world, i hope the memory of the time i spent with the kids at the school never leaves me. for the past 14 months i have made my way down to pv to shoot this documentary and this past 8 days have been by the far the greatest experience i have had down there. I think we all have parts of pv that pull us back and i can understand why. One of these trips i will have some time to actually do the tourist thing and see the city as it has been intended to see, but for now i am very content with traveling to the trash dump and hanging out with some pretty incredible families. my next trip is for two weeks in december, i will be filming during christmas time. can't wait.
