restaurant recommendation

previous post was too long to mention this: I have been to PV 6 times now, and tried almost everything there is to try, but this was a real find:

If you go, you MUST try La Ronda. It is number 372 on the street called Aquiles Serdan, near Insurgentes Puente. This is about 2 block south of the Rio Cuale and 2 blocks north of the flea market.

small, really small, mexican food and seafood. Family owned and operated, be sure to ask for the 'special menu'. try the Chicken in wine with FRESH mushrooms...kind of like a mexican Coq O'Vin, or the pounded steak, or the Snapper. All of these were around $8.50 US, huge portions. Whoa!

we had dinners, flan for dessert, couple of beers and a couple of shots of tequila and walked away spending $30 US total.

In the past we have spent $150 at Le Kliff, $100 at Cafe Des Artistes, etc. and not had a meal even close to what we tried at La Ronda. We went back twice to make sure we weren't dreaming. It's the real deal.
