very interesting to say the least... lots of comments of varying degrees of advice... Personally knowing that area, there is a cop on all 4 corners of the square there. Grab them with the best spanish you have, and drag them in there and see what happens...

it is ashame to have that happen though...

Thanks for the info. One more thing us girls have to worry about when we go potty in public places I guess. Exactly how exciting can it be to see a woman going to the bathroom doing her best not to touch anything in the process? In my wildest imagination I can't see the point of that.

the things are not limited to Puerto Vallarta alone these things are becoming common with developing advanced technologies.we must be careful while we are out.

That said, the restaurants in question were both closed in October on unrelated stuff, so it's not an issue anymore...
