Yes , listening to Hotel California brings to mind PV . Another song that always makes me smile and think of PV is , Mexican Radio by Wall Of Voodoo. These 2 lines always stick with me :

I wish I was in Tijuana,
Eating barbequed iguana .

Maybe we should change that to read :

I wish I was in Vallarta ,
For the new year to starta !

Dude! forgot about that one. I used to love to hear that come on the radio and I think they had a video on MTV way back when I actually watched that crap.

Top 10 signs you are a PV addict:
10. You need a nap in the middle of the afternoon.
9. You need a couple of cervezas after that nap.
8. You get the DT's if you don't eat guacamole by noon.
7. Bartering in WalMart.
6. Asking for prices in pesos and you're shopping in Alberta.
5. Wondering what that white stuff is falling from the sky.
4. Looking for the street vendors selling tacos and fresh pineapple in downtown Edmonton.
3. Telling the city busdrivers to speed it up a bit.
2. Looking for the fishing boats and the parasailers on our frozen lake.

And the number one sign you are a PV addict....

1. You miss the timeshare guys!!!

I live just west of Edmonton, Alberta. We've been to PV twice, were there for 11 days in November and I'm ready to go back... Yes, I am a PV addict.

went to Pv Mar/05 we weren't home 5 months and had to book another trip.Second trip in 6 weeks from today,we are getting very excited about going again and can't wait to get there

Having spent 2 weeks over Christmas/New Years in PV I thought now I might have this addiction beat....but no! decided to go back May 1st for 3 MONTHS!!! Looks like I am really falling off of the wagon this time.
