Mike Parker is NO LONGER ASSOCIATED WITH Feed the Children Vallarta which controls the operations of the charity in Puerto Vallarta.

DO NOT send donations to Mike Parker, Eagles on Assignment nor ChildrenoftheDump.org . Donations sent there will not be forwarded to the children.

Sorry for the quick post yesterday. I did not have much more time than to post the info as I got it as we had Karaoke last night and were jammed.

Much of the info I have is second hand and Art Fumerton has the whole story first hand. It basically goes like this:
Mike Parker used to raise a lot of money for the Kids years ago from his home in the USA. A couple of years ago he ran into financial difficulties and the donations stopped. I checked out his Tax Free Corporation's tax filings (which are public records) and found he donated nothing in the last two years however he maintained an active website and an active email list to which he send pleas to help with donations. Recently we had some people who said they had sent money to him for the Kids and Art never got the money so we finally had some sort of "proof". Hence the warning letter from Art. This man now lives in Puerto Vallarta and continues his pleas for help for the Kids via the other website and email spam. There seems to be no other way to stop him as he has been warned verbally and in writing. I hate to do it this way but I agreed that there seems to be no other way for now as all other procedures take a lot of time though the legal routes are being pursued. It always pays to be careful and that is exactly what we are doing. I take this very personally as this is a project very close to my heart.

YOUR ON! Stealing from a charity is just punk. Hopefully the IRS will catch up with this clown soon. The thing that is bothersome is people like this have no problem sleeping at nite!
