I Love Spring

It's a gorgeous spring weekend here in the north Sacramento Valley, sunny and in the 80's, (supposed to be raining and about 63 degrees by wed.) so I went to the farmer's market and bought 1/2 flat of strawberrys and now have shortcakes in the oven. Is there anything in the world better than strawberrys with home made shortcake?
I love Spring too...
Yesterday was a beauty of a day... spent a lot of the day and eve outside...Today it is kind of ugly out...
Nice to see what you did with your day davilin...The cake and strawberries sound nummy..
Where is everyone from the board..What have you all been up to...
Probably many are having a Sunday afternoon Siesta...

Spring Ritual
Its a clear sunny day around 60 degrees in Southern Ontario . I just finished our taxes - tomorrow is the cutoff . What a rotten way to waste a nice spring day .
Today was a day for housework. It seems to be never ending!
Weather wise though it was a good day to stay inside. Never got much warmer than plus 6 (around 42F). Still have a bit of snow. I'm sure spring will be here soon!!
And thanks for the reminder about taxes Smitty - guess you know what we'll be doing tonight!!

Absolutely beautiful day here too... Lots of ice on the lake yet,....probably will be for another month.
I did my taxes at work last night...I'll see if my firstborn can fit in the envelope when I mail it this afternoon. I know that I live in a great country, and we have to pay for all of these benefits, and we should be happy to be paying taxes to support this way of life.....but I would be just as happy if I had to only pay ½ this much.
