INTERNET ACCESS?

Post by pauline2006 » Sun Oct 22, 2006 11:33 pm

I'm staying at Crown Paradise. Nov 3rd-10th.
Where is the best spot for internet access and what is the cost approx?
Can I use my own Laptop or should I keep it at home?
Any advice is wonderful!
thanks

On our honeymoon at the Golden Crown, we only used internet access a couple of times, but downtown at Cafe Roma it is free. If you like good pizza and free internet access then this would be a good stop on your trip. If you are looking for something a little closer, some of the others can probably help you out there.

I would leave the laptop at home (unless you need it for work or something?) and use any of the MANY internet cafes. They are literally all over town and they are very cheap.

This is the first trip we've had to PV where we needed to have public internet access, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how many places there were. You need to look closely, some of them are not so obvious, sometimes only a sign on a door, but they are cheap. Most in old town were 10-15 pesos/hr.

I would leave my laptop at home. The Crown Paradise hasa couple of computers that you can use but it is a little costly. There is an internet room about a 5 minute walk away. Go left when you leave the Crown towards the Maritime terminal where the cruise ships come in. Take a right after you go through the gate. Just up the street on the right hand side is a money exchange place with about 20 computers with internet access. It's only about $2 per hour. Enjoy your trip. You'll love the Crown Paradise. Ican hardly wait. I'll be next door at the Golden Crown Paradise Nov. 8.
