Introducing myself!

Post by Freckle Face » Fri Nov 10, 2006 12:32 am

Hi Everyone!
I have visited the other side of Mexico twice (Akumal) and now me and my husband are planning a trip with the kids to Puerto Vallarta. Just wanted to say hi and I'll see you around the boards :D
Adios!
Tara

*embarassed* we just got back from Akumal on the 5th. I can't help it, I really love Mexico and the people and the culture. I'd like to go as soon as I can, which will probably be spring 2007. Thought I'd try a new area!

Welcome to the board Tara. :D

Don't listen to winterpegman. I don't find him cranky at all but then again maybe I'm just as cranky as he is and don't notice it.

And Darryl, we could never ignore you  :D because what fun would here be in that.

I want to add my welcome, too. I hope you will love Puerto Vallarta as much as the rest of us do. Hey, that rhymes!

Bienvenido a Puerto Vallarta.

So it sounds like you have the same sickness I've got. Mexicoitis. I have to spend a week every 4 months or so some where in Mexico. During the last 7 years we have had 12 weeks in PV and 7 on the Mayan Riviera. Looks like our next one will be just minutes south of Playa del Carmen at the Iberostar Quetzal, this January 12.

I've got to tell you I really enjoy PV more than anywhere else, so you really need to give the place a try.

One good thing, you found an excellent resourse by tapping into this forum.

Hasta luego, amiga.

again, thanks! Smitty, I come by it honestly - I don't really tan, I just freckle. I freckle to death. They start joining and forming little blobs on my face LOL. I used to hate it, but now that I'm in my late 30's, I'll keep 'em - they make me look younger LOL

Well, I'm off to feed my obsessive compulsive disorder - dreaming about traveling back to Mexico!

Try Coke for getting a tan. I haven't tried it yet but I plan on it if the rain ever stops.

See link Crazy Things To Do With Coke

I know, it's hideous out today. Power's flickering on and off.

And I will try that coke thing. If it doesn't work, big deal. Nothing to lose! I just don't want anyone to see me apply the coke - I'll look loco!

Coke on the face or rubbed anywhere on your skin..please NO! :)
Coke is used to clean chrome on cars and it eats nails..
It would be terribly sticky and feel gross and one would have no UV protection.

Try it if you like ..I would not.
Just my humble.. :)
