peace!!

Post by teatrolimon » Sat Oct 27, 2007 4:11 am

so many of you people have been wondering what bruce has been up to

many of you know bruce sold the back alley bistro recently and was supose to be going to europe
well unforseen circumstances have led me to stay here in puerto vallarta and continue my life here.
i have decided to open a new restauraunt called TEATRO LIMON

thats enuff said about the new place
if anyone has any questions about the new venture you can ask

WARNING!

im not interested in arguing with people to the point where it gets devaluing or otherwise slanderous

if someone asks an opinion on another dining establishment or any other business here in puerto vallarta that ive frequented im going to give an honest opinion

people, please understand the true passion i have for my business and my craft i do have opinions sometimes people dont like them so be it

when they come from me they will be honest and to the point

i will use common sense while contributing to this board any further

im not interested in the past or the issues of others in the past either on this board or others
ESPECIALLY PERSONAL ATTACKS IN ANY FORM

happy posting

bruce

Well I really wasn't one of those wondering, but thanks for the update anyway. I'm still coming to terms with my favorite washroom stop (Hooters) being forced out on the street. And then Bogart's closed and now I'm wondering what will happen to that building. I was always able to recalibrate my bearings when traveling between the hotels and the Malecon and saw their sign. We are definitely planning on visiting Bruce's Back Alley Bistro this winter and see how the new owners are making out.

You must be pretty smart business person there Bruce, if you can sell a restaurant without a non-compete clause in it preventing you from opening up another one right away... OR are you coming up with some kind of totally new concept that is different... ????? Have you considered a 'Tim Horton's", I think it would go over big time, and you could rely on all the visiting Canucks with our $ 1.04 dollar, to grab a couple of timbits when they got homesick.

Inquiring minds want to know.

competition agreement

Post by teatrolimon » Sat Oct 27, 2007 12:19 pm

as per my lawyer

a non comptetion agreement here in mexico is ver difficult to enforce

2nd
i do have an agreement with the new owners of bruces and by all means drop by and try them out
if you where there before i think youll find the food to be equally as satisfying

the agreement i have with the new owners is this!

they can use the name of bruces back alley bistro i n the limits of puerto vallarta and i will teach them the techniques that i use in my recipes
and that i will not open or consult or manage another persons establishment in the zona romantico

im personally not oblged to answer questions that have to do with our business arangement but thought id answer incase you thought i was cheating them in any way

you see unlike others and i wont mention any names, that sell there place

i will not open across the street from the person i just sold my place to

as far as bogarts gos

i have now got the posession rights to the torches in front of bogarts
i bought them yesterday
and while talking with guillermo , the manager he told me that the mansion steakhouse concept is moving into the bogarts room

im really trying to get the beautifull white baby grand out of him

ya right good luck to me lol

TEATRO LIMON CONCEPT

fesh rejuvenating food all prepared right in front of your eyes from start to finish

honor bar concept with intereactive entertainment

cooking lessons and classes in garde mange and artisanal food products such as cheeses bread and charcuterie

believe it or not !

AFTERNOON TEA!!!

my wife wanted a place to have afternoon tea while entertaing friends
so i gave it to her

heres the twist

when you walk into the place youll think ?

is this a restauraunt or someones house

its both primarily its my house and really dont want to be a full house place
i want it to be a place for you and your friends to get together in our home while we help you entertain with them

ok nuff said

Maybe this time I'll be able to pop by, I'm just so infrequently in Vallarta now... with the CSL site taking off and our new Cancun project mexicocancun.com just starting off (so site yet, just the domain).

Is Teatro Limón already open? Where is it?

Was in to see what's left of The Doors the other day, so it's now "Make love, not war" :-)

Greetings

Mogens

Well Bruce, I'd audition for the pole dancer position, but I'm afraid I've changed my ways. Now if I'd have known about it last month...............LOL

Well good for you Bruce - that is a wonderful concept for you and Julia. Hope she is doing well. You just never know who will show up in this world do you. Where is your new place located from your old place then????? Well if you have the Bogart Torches sticking up out front that won't be too hard to find either...

Best of luck to you in your new adventure, and best wishes to you and Julia. Hoping you are both in good health as well...

Tom and Lorrie.
