A friend that lives in Puerto Vallarta sent me this e-mail...I agree..
Merry Christmas
love from Sylvia and Bill
....
I will be making a conscious effort to wish everyone a Merry Christmas
.. My way of saying that I am celebrating the birth Of Jesus Christ. So
I am asking my email buddies, if you agree with me, to please do the
same. And if you'll pass this on to your email buddies, and so on...
maybe we can prevent one more American tradition from being lost in the
sea of "Political Correctness"
Oh Holy Night - ILL Divo

Merry Christmas Everyone!
I am down in PV now. Weather has been quite a bit cooler than I'm used to when I'm down here, but it's still great.
We visted Bucerias yesterday and had lunch at Adrianos. Doug thoroughly enjoyed his lunch. Me not so much as I don't eat seafood.
We then came back to the Buenaventura and showered and went back downtown to Burros for a cocktail, Coco Tropical for dinner, which was wonderful as always, and then we went to Andales for a few cocktails. They were having difficulty with the sound system so there wasn't any music until around 11:00pm, but they played the Alice song shortly thereafter. I was ready to go back to the hotel at about 10 30, but I refused to leave until I heard "Alice". LOL No burro again. I've yet to see him on any of my visits through the years.
Our room at the Buenaventura is great - oceanfront with jacuzzi. Service has been wonderful, but we haven't spent much time at the resort as of yet.
Today we aren't doing much of anything - we may take a water taxi over the Yelapa for the afternoon, but Doug's cold has kicked back in full bore today so it may be a sit around kinda day.
Hope everyone on the board has a wonderful Christmas and I'm sure I'll be checking in again in a couple of days.
Cheers,
Helen
