New Webcam

Post by darla » Mon Jul 28, 2008 1:59 pm

I just went to the webcam and am so shocked at how very clear it really is. I have been going to the old webcam almost daily for about 4 months and this is really amazing and just makes me that much more anxious to go back!!!! October can't get here soon enough!!!

Vallarta Web Cam Tour

I've now configured the webcam to visit 12 different points in the area, some South and some North, staying 10 minutes on each and then changing to the next one. Hope you like it. As I said, if you have a special place I should point to I may be able to add it.

Greetings

Mogens

Great job Mogens! I haven't closed the page for two days :-) I love watching all the people...

One request... could you point it at the ocean as the sun sets once in a while? :-)

Keep up the great work!

Sunsets will be tricky, but I will try to remember when the sun sets here in Guadalajara to move the cam... though I normally try to be home before sunset...

Current spots the cam visits in order, all are shown for 10 minutes:

1- Malecón and Malecón 2, general view
2- Malecón 2 a zoom to the tip, you can see some south zone hotels or condos in the background
3- Los Arcos islands in the south zone, I'll change the zoom setting it's a bit too close and the digital zoom affects the image too much.
4- Malecón and the statues on it.
5- A wide shot of the malecón
6- Beach and sea and piece of the malecón, wide shot.
7- The statue in front of Hotel Rosita
8- Hotel Rosita beachfront looking towards the Hotel Zone and Marina
9- Westin Regina and a building construction, anyone know what it is?
10- Portofino Condos at the Marina Vallarta
11- Velas Vallarta hotel and BayView Grand Condos beside it
12- A church on the north side of the Hotel Rosita, I know there's a parking lot below it, but don't know the name of the church, help please :-)

Then it returns to the first location I guess, waits 10 minutes and continues with the tour.

Any ideas for new spots?

Greetings

Mogens

I asked the same question in another post. Kcown answered Tres Mares
condos. I believe him to be correct.
