Hola from Nevada.

My first trip to PV was in 1989. I spent alot of time in the area between 1989 and 1991. The last time I was there was in 2001. I'll see if I can get some of the old pictures up.

i must have you beat-----ive been traveling to pv since 1972-----my last trip was in 2005-----i read this board every day to keep up with my dreamland,,,,,,i would post some old photos if i could find them----i remember when hotel rio was $8 day, and there was a chicken farm across the street on the beach------the same vendors selling fish on a stick in front of los arcos hotel.....posada del roger was a hippie hangout---i sure would like to hear more reports about the small hotels in the romantic zone-----does anyone know jose marca, a famous local artist?
does picasso style art-----there was only one bridge, still lots of traffic since all went through town to go south---my memories of pv are what help me get through the average day here in south florida----

i bet you definitely have seen some changes. i used to stay at the hotel eloisa for about $10-12 per night. i would stay for extended periods so they gave me a good rate. i remember a motel i stayed at in guanajuato for $4 per night and a bungalow near melaque for around $4 per night also.
