all excited to be coming back to PV for the 9th vacation! I checked out the webcam for a feel of "home" and nearly died... what the hell is that horrible monster buiding going up in old town?

it's a horrific condo building at the mouth of the rio cuale. it blights the view from many different vantage points....que horible!!!!!!!

Being built on the old Molina De Agua site . Aesthetics aside - it would be a prime location to reside .

agree smitty, would be an awesom place to live... but its presence in old town is horrific!

Probably no more so than the original condos were when they were built.

It really is a blight on the landscape, never more apparent than when you go to one of the restaurants on the hill overlooking the bay (like the Vista Grill)...so sad they let this happen...really opens the door for more monsters.

Actually I scoff each time I see it on the webcam (haven't had the "honour" of seeing it face to face), it's such a clear sign of corruption and complete lack of aesthetics and city planning, plus just plain bad taste, and then to think they killed Molino de Agua for THAT!... Anyway, the market (supply and demand) has no brain and this proves it.

You can thank the developers of Agua Molina, who tore down the quaint hotel and have built this huge, ugly, view blocking monstrasity. First Time I saw it I nearly died - how sad that the city leaders allowed such a huge building to go up covering once was one of the most beautiful views in town....shame on you PV leaders!
