Good meeting place ?

Post by Shimano Penn » Sat Jan 09, 2010 6:57 pm

Just a few more days... by Thursday afternoon I'll be in paradise :D I'm planning to meet someone down there, can anyone suggest a good bar/ restaurant well known and easy to find? Casual place, maybe water view?

A lot of that depends on where you'll be staying, but Cheeky Monkey is on the Malecon and most everybody knows where that is. Or Burro's Bar on the south side. They both have a water view and are found easily. McDonald's is a well known landmark too but I'd prefer to sit in one of the other places to wait on somebody, myself.

Have fun.

Cafe Roma in old town.. it is just across from the market... prices are really good... pizza is great if you're hungry... free internet and VOIP phone..... and you get to talk to Fox or his wife of both (in English) while waiting.

Cheeky Monkey gets my vote. Just across from the ladder/children statue on the Malecon.

Does anyone know the address, or the street this is on? I took a look at their website but I can't find the address.
