Hotel Help???????/

We are going to PV Dec. 17-23. There are 4 adults and 2 children ages 13 and 17. Can you tell me what is the best hotel where it's a nice rating and things for the kids to do? We stayed at the Marival last time and we loved it, but it's not available so thought we would stay in PV proper. Thanks for any help you can give me....
If you are going All Inclusive the Melia has a kids rate that applies up to age 17... that being said... we always took our kids there, but as they got past 15 they found it hard to find 'decent' things to do. It is geared more for the younger ones.
The Crown Plaza (next door to the GCP) also has a decent kids area (I don't know what the ages for the kids rate are there) and a nicer beach than the Melia for them to hang around on.
Adults will have a great time at both locations.
