Did El Eden close?

Post by davidmcguire760 » Mon Sep 26, 2011 1:30 am

While looking online for new things to do on this year's trip I noticed something that led me to believe that the Restaurant El Eden has closed down. Is that true?

UNFORTUNATELY CLOSED

Post by warmweathermark » Sat Nov 12, 2011 3:25 am

EL EDEN was a great place I took all my visiting guests to. The restaurant
was good and the river and buildings were great.

UNFORTUNATELY, according to the local paper,Don Crispin was kidnapped after speaking out against the local drug cartel. He was later released and closed the family business. ( El Eden and Don Crispin Tequila distillery).

Sorry Kat but just saw your question:

I have a sick mother and a son wounded in Afghanistan so taking care of the family is most important. Not sure when I'll get back.

As far as the changes in PV in the five years I lived there it saddens me
that change along with the local economy has deteriorated. The poor will as always suffer.

PV is still a Great place to vacation and safe for tourists. Common sense
is always advised.

Please visit often and support the local Mexican businesses.
