You will be amazed at all the improvements even at the airport. We have been going for 6 years now with our stays being 2 weeks in 2006 till now we arrive jan 12 till march 18, I can now say it is our favorite winter home. Take care...

What improvements at the airport? Do they still have the timeshare shark chamber? Or did they tone that down?

Yes the time share sales people are present, we never let anyone grab our luggage and just say you have a condo there and they leave you alone.

If you have to take a taxi south, the airport taxis are expensive. If you go out over the walkway to the other side of the road its usually 1/3 the price to anywhere south of the airport. ( Some of the best Taco's and Beer you will get in PV are by the taxi stand)
