Happy birthday to St Louis's most infamous musician. IMO, I think he is closer to 90, there has been talk since the 1970's he's been lying about his age. A friend of my dad's was a security guard at the federal prison in Springfield, MO, when they incarcerated him for tax evasion. He said Chuck used to get out on the exercise yard to play basketball with the other inmates and he was like;"Hey, man, Hey man, pass me the ball!"
Springfield aloso housed Robert Stroud (The Birdman of Alcatraz) when they closed The Rock, and eventually died there.
