Can anyone supply info on places to purchase and get a new fridge delivered. Is Sams club a good place to start, or are there merchants in old town or???

The street about a block or so before the backside of Ley's has many appliance places, one in particular is Decach (or close to that, forgot the spelling) they deliver and have pretty competetive prices.
I do not think Sam's delivers but there is usually someone with a truck in the parking lot you can offer money to deliver.
Soriana has fridges and so does Mega, you can ask if they offer delivery, or you can find guys with moving trucks at Parque Hidalgo, usually they charge about 200 to 400 pesos depending on what and where they need to go and where they need to deliver.
