First trip to PV, any suggestions??

Hello there! I am leaving on our first trip to PV in a few days.....a layover for a couple of days in Denver then on to PV. Any suggestions for new folks in PV? We have been to Mexico before, (I've only been to Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo but my SO has been to several other destinations). We will be arriving Christmas day and leaving New years day.....we are staying at the Mayan Palace. Thanks in advance!!

Relax, Soak up the Sun, Relax some more, and have a lot of Cocktails while laying on the beach!!! But save some for me! I'll be arriving on New Year's Day as you are departing!

I would definately try to do some snorkelling, although this isn't the best time of the year. Chico's Dive Shop is the best place to go...head to the south side of town for some excellent strolls and restaurants...try and eat in authentic places and stay the hell away from Macdonalds and other american chain places...soak it all in...you will want to go back
