Sounds like aliens, have you been debriefed by Homeland Security yet? Smile!
Actualy the phosphorus glow is a completely natural thing that I have seen many times in the tropics .

Stew is correct! They ARE aliens. This is the first stage of your alien abduction experience. Just go with it..don't fight it. It's fun. Chuck...

I'm not a marine biologist, but there are a lot of glow-in-the-dark phosphorescent things that live in the ocean. Including some types of algae, plankton and jellyfish. Still, the alien theory sounds pretty plausable to me, also :)

Yeah me either. I do not now the scientific explanation but I do know it's rather common at lower depths that moves up in storms etc. You see so many incredible things in nature that we tend to get blasé. I remember as a kid observing the Northern Lights on cold winter nights speculating about aliens & "War of the Worlds". It's a great world folks, enjoy it!

Go for it

it probably is some micro organism that is loved up by other marine species, and now have you on their dining menu as well. I have to go with the alien therory too. I mean look at all the silly TV shows out this fall, Surface, (*&^%&^ now i can think of the others) oh well...

if you feel some BIG swiming along side you the next time you are in this neon state, don't panic, it just could be a whale going by after the planktin, or it could be some else too... be calm, don't struggle, just let them swallow you whole, then swim like hell thru the digestive system and out the hiney.

JUST KIDDING
