These Slay Me

Post by smitty » Thu Mar 02, 2006 9:25 pm

A British one - and a google will explain it but won't take away the giggles whenever I hear it - " Bob's your uncle . " :)

Another I love and use whenever I meet my many nephews and nieces , "I'm a monkey's uncle ! " :)

Okie Dokie :)
My family from England were visiting us in Feb. On a day trip into Calgary we came across a major new roadway project .
My nieces got all excited when they saw the flag person holding the stopsign.
Oh look... a lollipop girl

Well as we all know, many people get Iowa and Idaho confused. Why i am not quite sure. but you all know what Iowa stands for don't you?

I - Indians
O - Out
W - Wandering
A - Around

And yes we still have plenty of Indians (Native Americans) here in the great state of Iowa, you can't drive 50 to 100 miles in either direction without running into a Casino.

Have a good one...

A few years back I was delivering to a Medical Centre on my route . I went in a Dr's office and smiled at a little Girl and her Mom . I guess I scared the Girl cause she said to her Mom , "watch out Mom , he's going to bite us ! " :)

ALL of your friends were doing it? Would you jump off a bridge if all of your friends were doing it?"

my dad took my 8yr old daughter out on the frozen lake for a drive to see if they could see any ice fishing. She phoned me when she got to his house almost out of breath.

mom mom do you know what grandpa did he took me out on the ice
Does he not understand how dangerous that is we could have fallen through and gotten cold and drowned. I played dumb and asked if they walked out on it and she said nooooo "he took the van" can you believe that. lmao

needless to say I explained to her that grandpa would never put her in any type of danger and that it was safe.

If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a few payments.
