Is it true that there is a restaurant/place in Puerto Vallarta called Sweeney's?? If so, please tell me where it's at. Thanks!

It is on Olas Altas on the second floor by Apaches and Andale's. Leo the owner also owns Sweeny's in St. Paul- my old stomping grounds:) And yes, if you know the place, he has a couple pink flamingos here too.

Here is an old photo from early February 2003. I think it was taken a week or so before their grand opening (before they had installed their customer tables and official restaurant signs).

Forgot to say: the restaurant is on the second floor, with a first floor stairway entrance (shown at the bottom right corner of the photograph).

Just a kind word to the wise, who? Watch their margarita specials, 2 for 1 or something like that. I do not drink but dos amigos did, there, and almost died from the tequila. Rot gut cheap stuff, so beware, Price is low and that is how you will feel! LOL.

The surf n' turf plate was very good though, and cheap!

I stayed away from the margs and had Coca Light gary, but thanks for the warning! LOL
