what's the scoop on this place? I'm staying at the emperador, is it near? as far as drinks go, how much? buckets of beer? rum? what is the enviroment like, young, old ,or a mix? music?

lot of questions, but I know someone has the answers, and for that I thank you!

A place to avoid in my opinion:
-The drinks are measured and are weak. Buy doubles!
-Occasionally at night, this guy and a donkey come in and disrupts everything.
-They play a lot of 80's music including some which feature the F___ word something about Alice.
-Lots of young and old, blacks and whites, gays and straights as well
-Scroll down

Seriously, it is probably the most visited bar in the Romantic Zone. Your hotel is a scant 2 blocks away. You will have fun there.
Search for other threads on the subject as there should be plenty.

that is what i thought for a moment there too... YIKES... this is a fun place, and i hear the burgers aren't too bad either... and yes they say the F bomb during the Alice Song.... a good time is had by all....

I hear there's lots of nudity practiced by the 60-70 year old crowd there too..Something about everyone wanting to be dressed the same as the donkey.

You got it all mixed up. The donkey sings in the nude, the f-words are used to describe the drinks, and the 70-80 year old women are 2 for 1.

Apparently them 'completos' work wonders on your eyes there Howard. I been looking and looking, and from the size of this picture can't for the life of me figure out how you determined that the Burro was a female .

Buffett - no worries. Andale never closes. I was in town last week and even though the crowd was thinned out a bit compared to high or shoulder season, there were still folks having a round or two and the burro was there.
