Best fish tacos are on Naranja south of Carranza, near El Brujo. Try their calamari.

The first time I saw fish tacos on a menu was at a place here called Tres Hombres and I thought "wow, that just sounds so wrong". It took a while before I actually tried one over on the coast, now I'm hooked. Mango salsa does sound like a good addition.

mango salsa recipe

Post by desi » Mon Jul 14, 2008 4:39 pm

Habanero Mango Salsa
Ingredients:
5 Dried Habanero Chiles, Stems
-Removed
2 tb Chopped White Onion
1 lb Fresh Mango, Chopped
3 tb Golden Raisins
1/8 ts Tumeric
1 Fresh Lime Quartered

Instructions:
Cover the chiles with water in a saucepan. Place on the stove, add the onions and simmer until the chiles are softened. Add the mango and the raisins, raise the heat, and just before it begins to boil, remove from the heat.
I tend to add cilantro and red onion instead of the white onion..and sometime whatever else is in the spice cabinet!

Fish Taco's ask for a few extra lime wedges to squirt all over the fish and the cabbage and peppers/tomatoes or try asking for Leamo's (spelling?) if they have any a wonderful twist for sure.

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! I love fish taco's

Whoops- just saw this Joyce.

We are going to be there New Years Eve through the 8th of January.

We own a T.S with at Playa Del Sol - Grande, but have not had luck booking there...We enjoy the Costa Sur so much mainly because we are hooked on the 5 minute cab rides into old town and exploring the city and wherever it takes us by foot.

Are you going to be there soon?
