We've found most of the restaurants are "reasonable" when compared to U.S.

As kagnew64 implies, it helps if you say where you are staying, so you can get guidance on the restaurants nearest you.

And what kind of food do you like?

Are you traveling solo, as a couple, or with kids (that could change everything)?

If you're staying someplace with a kitchen, you can save big time, and take yourself out for a splurge.

There is a restaurant next to the lobby of the Hotel Eloisa. Very good, home cooked Mexican food and very reasonable. Also an inexpensive one across the street from Andales . Chuck... 8)

I think there is a really good taco place after the park going to cyc on the right if you are on the same street as andales, might be the same street that takes you to cyc -foggy memory -I can only guide you there when do we leave?

Close. It is on the turnoff to CyCs, on the street before La Piazetta (Fca Rodriguez). You can see it from Olas Altas on the south side of the street.

I'm not PV citizen but I was there in may and since my money was quite short I used restaurant coupons. There are a lot for PV at
http://www.bestmealdeals.com/
I love Mexican and Italian restaurants and its possible to get up to 20% discount dining out with the coupons. I hope it'll be useful resource of cheap restaurants. Enjoy!

Cheap Eats

Another option is takeout from the grocery stores - Mega / Soriana or Commercial Mex have cooked meats and other prepared foods along with excellent baked goods at very inexpensive prices .

All you have to do is walk a block or two off the beaten path on any street and you will find something awesome and cheap. Some of the best meals I have had in PV are at places where I just went off walking. Mom and Pops are outstanding in PV.
