Where's the best breakfast in PV?

Post by Joliett » Tue Sep 22, 2009 6:27 pm

I'm talking buffet with eggs and bacon and juice and hashbrowns and fruit and bloody marys! We believe that bacon is one of the four main food groups, and we had a hard time finding a really good desayuno Americano in PV. Thanks for your suggestions!

It is NOT a buffet, but my favorite place is Fredy's Tucan in Old Town.
You can get typical American type breakfast and also Mexican specialties there.

try Memos Pancake House on Basillo Badillo--you won't be disappointed--good prices too---several years ago Memo offered cooking classes that were quite fun

Kat's right, Lindo Mar buffet is really good, available weekends only tho. Their regular menu weekdays has great choices too.

One of our neighbors told us that the Rosarita Hotel has a killer buffet on Sunday's. Haven't had time to check it out yet, but will try in a couple of weeks when we are down there.

One of our favorite breakfast buffet is at the Sheraton on Sundays. You have everything from your bacon to omelets made right in front of you. Western food to local dishes. There is something for everyone, breakfast dishes and lunch. Entertainment and a play area for kids even. Great food

In the Hotel Zone

Post by oneistwo » Fri Oct 02, 2009 6:03 pm

We tried the buffet and the Fiesta Americana and it was very good. Neither of us can eat that much food though, so buffets aren't a bargain for us.

Our normal preference: about halfway between the main Hotel Zone and El Centro is Las Alcatraces, opposite the Mega. Clientele is mostly locals, and if you're Spanish isn't up to it you may have to order by pointing to the menu. If you're not in an eggs mood, order the hot cakes. And the fruit plate is a meal in itself.

We've eaten breakfast at Freddy's too. Excellent.
