You are in a great location for restaurants, a bit a walk down the HILL but great for walking off all the food you will find in foodie paradise. Cafe Bohemio is great, Red Cabbage, El Brujo, Encanto, La Palapa, Kaiser Maxamillian, Casa Narajano just to name a few of my favorites.

Enjoy!!!

On Banderas News, they posted the results from the Reader's Choice 2009. Restaurants on the list which are in the Romantic Zone include El Brujo, Cafe de Olla, Banana Cantina, Daiquiri Dick's, Joe Jack's Fish Shack, Archie's Wok, La Palapa, Fredy's Tucan (breakfast), The Deli (great takeout food plus a few cute tables, mainly for lunch), La Piazzetta.

I recommend all of these.

North of the river, I love Barcelona Tapas, Trio, La Dolce Vita, El Arrayan, Vitea.

Not on the list, but worth going: La Candela (at night, even if just for a drink and/or snack--- lots of candlelight), Marisma (fish/shrimp taco stand--- do NOT miss, for lunch).

You will find many other posts regarding restaurants on this website forum.
