Trying to recall name of inexpensive Restaurant nrth of town

When last in PV a few years ago we found a terrific inexpensive restaurant we visited twice. We got there by going north on the bus from Wal-Mart to a town several miles north of PV. The food was great but can't recall the name of the restaurant. Can you help? Many thanks, Joe

You are probably talking about the town of Bucerias. Can you give any more details? Typical Mexican food, Italian, Seafood? Was it on the beach? Was it near the town square?

Are you thinking of Mauricio's in Ixtapa? Good sized restaurant, great seafood?

The bus took us north of PV and at some point turned right and went through a town. The restaurant was on the bus route. It was a large space rather unfinished but nice. The place closed early. Limited number of entrees. Lots of good sides. Cheap and real good. I would love to know the name of the place so we can go there when we come in early February.
