Hard to pick one...Pizza is awesome in PV!! Good one just around the corner from Day Off Beach Bar (close to the dancing couple on the malecon)...hole in the wall with a couple of italian guys. Very popular with the locals! Of course I can't remember the name right now...

Agree that pizza 'is' awesome in Vallarta.

We found our new favourite though, during our recent stay (April/May, 2011) -- Victor's Bar & Grill (in the south side, at Pino Suarez 232 - that's just around the NW corner of Cardenas Park).

Did the meat lovers, ham & pineapple, and vegetarian pizza's and thoroughly-enjoyed them all. Priced from 95 pesos - 105 pesos for the ones we had. Thin-crusts, well-topped, good preparations, priced right, and served up in a small and very friendly setting!! Yum!!

We like La Piazetta. Some can have thin crust pizza and others pasta or shrimp. Great staff! Good wine list.

La Piazetta

I was trying to look up the location of La Piazetta. Are there two locations? If so, is one better than the other?

The one we are referring to is at the NW corner of Rudolfo Gomez and Olas Altas. The other one is north of town. Probably just as good.
